We will be showcasing our annual Science fair, and introducing a new art show and film viewing! All made by our very own SRLA students throughout the year.

They put their hearts into these projects, so we hope you’ll come check it all out and show your support!

Outstanding Catholic School Graduate

Congratulations to our Outstanding Catholic School Graduate for the Class of 2026, Amelia Marin! Each year, SRLA identifies a graduate who exemplifies Catholic values in word and in deed and displays superior academic achievement. This award recognizes not just Amelia's discipleship and academic success, but also her presence and commitment to working in tandem with our Parish and Academy leaders.  A special Mass was held in The Sacred Heart Chapel and followed by a reception held in the gym.

GOD BLESS OUR COMMUNICANTS

This Tuesday we celebrated our communicants with a special mass and brunch. The children really enjoyed having cookies and cake for breakfast! Special thanks to our 1st grade class for hosting!

WE LOVE OUR TEACHERS!

Just in case you missed the HUGE sign on the lawn, it’s TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK! We love our teachers and staff at St. Rose so we tried to make them feel extra special. Thank you for taking such good care of our kids each and every day! 

National Junior Honor Society

On Friday May 8th, the St. Rose of Lima Academy chapter of the National Junior Honor Society inducted three new members - one from the eighth grade and two from the seventh grade. The induction ceremony, a long standing tradition of the NJHS, described the criteria by which new members were chosen. In addition to the obvious requirement of outstanding academic achievement, members were vetted for their character, their involvement in service to others both in and out of school, their leadership and citizenship.

The inductees recorded their names in the Academy's permanent roll book and received a membership pin. This year's inductees were eighth grader Omari Thompson and seventh graders Jacob Hanna and Ziva Otti.

Ravens compete at Newark Archdiocese / St. Cassian Invitational Track & Field Meet

Braving cold and blustery weather, the Ravens competed at the Newark Archdiocese / St. Cassian Invitational Track & Field Meet on Sunday in Jersey City.
