Raven Nation Basketball
Tournament of Champions
Please come out to support our 7/8 Varsity Boys basketball team as they participate in the 1st Annual CYO Tournament of Champions!
 
This will be the first ever basketball Tournament of Champions for the Archdiocese of Newark. All four Varsity Boys and Girls County Champions from Bergen, Essex, Hudson, and Union will compete, and one champion team will be crowned.
 
We invite you to come cheer on our St. Rose Ravens on Sunday at 4:00 pm at the Archdiocesan Youth Retreat Center (499 Belgrove Drive, Kearny, NJ).
 
The games will also be viewable via our St. Rose Basketball live-stream, beginning 10 minutes prior to game time.
  
The final game and crowning of the ToC winner will begin at 6:30 pm.
 
Raven Awards Celebration
 
We will be having our End of Season Basketball Awards Celebration on Wednesday, March 30 from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm in the SRLA Gym!
 
This is a reminder to all basketball families to RSVP via Team Snap to confirm your attendance at the event.
 
We are also asking for volunteers to assist with refreshment donations and setup and breakdown of the gym afterwards. Please click the Basketball Awards Sign-Up to register your donations or volunteer for a time slot.

Raven Track & Field
We would like to invite your Raven to join the St. Rose of Lima Track team this Spring! We practice twice a week and we have 6 meets on the schedule for this season. Practices will begin Tuesday, April 5.
  
Practices
Tuesdays, 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm, 3rd to 8th Grade ONLY
Thursdays, 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm, K - 8th Grade
 
All practices take place at Meisel Avenue Park, Springfield, NJ. The workouts consist of group runs, stretching, strength exercises, wind sprints, and field event practice.
 
PLEASE NOTE: Parents or caregivers of children in K - 2nd grade who are participating must remain at practice and keep an eye on their children at all times.
What the kids need
  • ‘Real’ running shoes!
  • To arrive on time at practice with a light jacket or sweatshirt, over a t-shirt.
  • Water bottles are a must!
Program fee
$45 per student to cover meet fees and track shirt (each runner will receive a St. Rose Dri-fit track shirt.)
You will be billed via Blackbaud/SmartTuition once your registration form has been submitted.
