Thank you, SRLA!!! Our hearts are full.
We are so grateful to all of our teachers and families who participated in Christmas Gift-giving for Families in Need this holiday season. We had a wonderful turnout, with our families donating 175 generous, beautiful gifts and we couldn't feel more proud.
We know all the children and families of St Rose of Lima Newark and St. Joseph’s Service Center Elizabeth will feel the love and joy you all have brought to them. Thank you from the bottom of our very full hearts!

We would like to say a very special thank you to Betsy Guarnieri, who has been the torch bearer of this special program since its onset many, many years ago. Kindness and generosity overflow from Betsy, and this program would not be nearly the success it has been without her tireless efforts, organizational skills, ,and tender care. May you feel the love of all those you have touched, Betsy!
Another special thank you to Christy Wong, who, along with Andrea Mansfield and Rosemary Mattson, will be taking over for Betsy as we continue to give to those in need in the years to come. Welcome aboard, Christy!
May you all be blessed with love, abundance, and joy this Christmas season and in the New Year. We are so grateful for our SRLA Family! Merry Merry! And, many thanks!

SRLA's annual Christmas Concert, presented by the Kindergarten through 8th Grades, will take place on Wednesday, December 20.
We will gather outside the church at 6:30pm for the arrival of Mary and her donkey for Stations of the Nativity, presented by the 6th Grade. Festivities will then move inside the church for the concert!
The dress code is festive and colorful holiday attire with lots of red, green, silver, gold, and white (and dress shoes, with heels less than 1" for girls; no sneakers please!).
Students will leave with their families directly from the church at the end of the performance to begin Christmas break!
|
The Characters—featuring SRLA's very own Danny Solazzi—will be performing a special Christmas show for students on Monday, December 18 at 1pm.
Parents are welcome to join us!
The performance will be held in Ryan Hall, downstairs from the church.

Sr. Sandy and I had an incredible experience last night at the Andrea Bocelli Concert at MSG.
Thank you, Ladies Auxiliary of The St. Rose of Lima Church, for the opportunity to win the tickets to concert of a lifetime.
Merry Christmas to all and looking forward to the next Ladies Auxiliary event. Hope to see more of our moms there as well!

Student Council would like to thank all who were involved with our first (EVER) bake sale! From the families and students who baked, to those who took their time to help the students purchase their treats, and to all who bought! It was a tremendous success and we look forward to doing it another time!
