Final numbers are still be tallied, but it's safe to say that the proceeds will help to make a true difference in the mission of Operation Chillout which provides homeless veterans with backpacks that convert into sleeping bags, filled with warm winter essentials.

SRLA has a wonderful tradition of celebrating our graduating students throughout their final year at the Academy!

The Pinning Ceremony marks the half-way point of the 8th grade year. The pins will be blessed during a special ceremony on Wednesday, January 29th at the 9am school Mass.

Immediately following, is a brunch for 8th grade students, siblings, and their families.

We are asking our SRLA community to support our 8th grade by considering a contribution to their celebratory brunch.

Items can be dropped off with Danny on the morning of Wednesday, January 29th. Please note, all items must be nut free.

In Kindergarten, Ms. Kepler's class has been exploring the theme of peace and equality. The children created Peace Plates and discussed how peace is something we build daily through our actions, just like our faith. They read I Am Ruby Bridges and named inspiring figures, both religious and secular, who have worked for peace.

They are also reading Martin’s Big Words and Change Sings, reflecting on kindness and unity, as well as stories celebrating diverse families. Through these lessons, the students honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream of learning, growing, and caring for one another.
