We Love SRLA Basketball

It's Basketball Playoff Season and there is a lot to celebrate at SRLA.

The 3rd/4th Grade Girls and 3rd/4th Grade Boys had terrific seasons. We loved seeing their sportsmanship and enthusiasm. Well done!

This weekend, the semi-finals round of playoffs takes place at Holy Trinity School Gym in Westfield.

The 7th/8th Boys play vs Holy Trinity in a big rivalry game at 4:45pm.

The 5th/6th Boys play vs St. Agnes at 3:30pm.

The students would love to see some supportive faces in the crowd!

If either team wins, it's off to the Championship games at Union Catholic!

Basketball Rose Ceremony

We recently celebrated our 8th Grade basketball students in the Rose Ceremony, a cherished tradition at SRLA. So proud of our Raven athletes!

Winning Night at Designer Bag Bingo

What a great night at Designer Bag Bingo!

Parents, teachers, administration, parish members, and alums came together for a fun evening of prizes, socializing, and support for our school. A huge thank you to Carla Penson and Michelle Morrisroe for all of their hard work in making the event happen, and to the Mansfields for doing a great job as MCs. We appreciate everyone who attended, contributed, and helped make the night such a success!

Parent Volunteers Needed for Track + Field

Calling all Track & Field Families!

Track and Field season is upon us and in order to have a track team we need some parent volunteers to coach.

Inside the Classroom...

Our middle school students have been busy with lots of science exploration with Ms. Hilliard.

  • 5th grade wrapped up their physical science unit with student-led game shows and are now beginning life science, starting with learning how to use microscopes.
  • 6th grade explored invertebrates up close by dissecting and studying earthworms in the lab.
  • 7th grade is immersed in their study of the human body—from recreating the digestive system to conducting experiments to see how activity impacts heart rate.
  • 8th grade became paleontologists, digging up “fossils” and creating their own molds and casts with modeling clay and plaster.
