This time of year is filled with opportunities for learning, faith, and fun! March brings Pi Day, St. Patrick's Day, and St Joseph's Day which provide opportunities for learning about academic concepts, faith, and culture for St. Rose students.

Congratulations to the 5th/6th grade boys basketball team on their incredible undefeated season and championship win! The team’s hard work, dedication, and teamwork led them to a well-earned victory, and we couldn’t be prouder.

A huge thank you to the coaches Peter Uzzolino, Chris Angevine, Tony Badim, and Joe Giannetti for their leadership and support, and to our Athletic Director, Rosemary Mattson, for all the time and effort she puts into SRLA athletics.

We also want to thank our SRLA community for coming out to cheer on the team at the game and throughout the season.

To celebrate this incredible achievement, Principal Underwood has announced that on Wednesday, March 19, players can wear their team uniforms to school, and all students are invited to show their school spirit by wearing SRLA spirit wear.

The excitement is building for SRLA’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and we can’t wait to reveal more details soon. Let’s just say… it'll be a totally tubular night filled with big hair, big sleeves, and even bigger fun! (Can you guess the theme?)

Yesterday, SRLA had the privilege of hosting Jodee Blanco, New York Times bestselling author and nationally recognized anti-bullying expert, for a series of impactful presentations tailored to our school community.

Parents, students, and teachers alike benefited from Jodee’s powerful insights on bullying prevention, empathy, and creating a culture of kindness.

A special thank you to our parents who attended the morning session, where Jodee provided valuable strategies for supporting our children.

Our Lower and Middle School students were engaged in their sessions, gaining practical tools to navigate social challenges with confidence and compassion.

Teachers also had the opportunity to learn actionable ways to promote inclusion and address bullying in the classroom.

We are grateful to Principal Underwood for bringing this important program to SRLA. We hope the lessons shared will continue to have a lasting impact on our students and staff alike.

Parents, ask your children about the difference between "tattling/snitching" and "telling"—it just might spark a great conversation!
