We are proud to announce that Emme Jensen has been named SRLA’s Outstanding Catholic School Graduate for the Class of 2025!

Each year, this honor is awarded to a student who exemplifies Catholic values through words and actions, while also achieving academic excellence. Emme’s faith, leadership, and dedication to working alongside our Parish and Academy community make her a truly deserving recipient.

The Archdiocese recognized Emme at a special celebration held at the Archdiocesan Youth Retreat Center in Kearny, which included a Mass in the Sacred Heart Chapel and a reception that followed.

Congratulations, Emme—we are so proud of you!

The 5th graders wrapped up their final DARE class (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) with an exciting hands-on experience! They explored a police car and all the essential tools officers carry, gaining insight into law enforcement firsthand. The officer demonstrated how police take fingerprints, and each student had the chance to have their own prints taken. Adding to the fun, they made handprints on the police car, which were then dusted for prints! The excitement continued as the officer showcased a drone in action, allowing students to see themselves from high above. What a fun experience!
