Social Outreach Halloween Costume Drive

ST. ROSE OF LIMA ACADEMY

presents

SEPTEMBER 6TH - OCTOBER 18TH 2023

For thousands of children across New Jersey, the Halloween traditions of costumes, candy and trick-or-treating are anything but magical. Help Jersey Cares bring imaginations and magic to life for children living in New Jersey by collecting new & gently used Halloween costumes.

Collection Dates:

From now until Wednesday, October 18, 2023

Hello SRLA Families!

The 8th grade is kicking off its first fundraiser of the year and we need YOUR help!

We hope that you enjoy all the different fundraisers we have planned this year! From beautiful Holiday papers and home goods, delicious Thanksgiving pies, to dress down days, tasty dining opportunities and more! We hope you find something that makes you happy to support our kiddos!

THANK YOU in advance for your generosity!

Our first fundraiser is COMING SOON! Take a sneak peek at the holiday goodies from Charleston Wrap!

2023-2024 SRLA HSA Sign Up

Dearest SRLA Families,

Welcome New Families and Welcome Back to our returning families for SRLA's 2023-2024 school year! We hope your children are all settling into the routines of school and enjoying their first days. We are so excited to have another wonderful year at St. Rose of Lima Academy!

The SRLA HSA, or Home School Association, is our school's liaison between school and home. We are a group of volunteer parents who work together to raise necessary funds for our operating budget, make improvements to our school, and bring in wonderful cultural programs for our children and their continued education.

Below is our "Mandatory HSA Sign Up" that each family agreed to participate in when they registered at SRLA. This signup breaks down the different volunteer opportunities at SRLA so parents can choose where they prefer to participate, or what works best with their schedule.

Please sign up (each parent/guardian) for whichever fundraising or volunteering event you'd like to be involved in for the 2023-2024 school year. It's that simple! And, don't worry, all events are supported by the HSA and Chairs so we will be there every step of the way!

Keep in mind that there will be additional events to support our school that come up throughout the year, such as 8th-grade fundraising, class events, Christmas gift-giving, and Wish Upon a Star, just to name a few. This signup is simply a baseline for volunteering.

Please pick a spot by November 1, 2023. Volunteer hours will be assessed at the end of the year and fees will be charged at that time if you decide not to volunteer. If you would like to opt-out for the year, a $350 fee will be charged to your Blackbaud account.

Please note: If your name is already on the Sign Up Genius, if you are a Class Parent, or if you are on the Advisory Board, you are not required to sign up for anything else (but please do, if you'd like!)

Already volunteering for something you don't see here? Just email Rose and Carla, HSA Presidents at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Thank you so much for your time and commitment to our school!
