Dear Parents,

Tomorrow, Thursday, April 14th, is a 12:10 dismissal with NO AFTERCARE.

Friday, April 15th No school.

All Preschool programs end at 11:25 on early dismissal/half days. 

School will reopen on Monday, April 25th. Summer uniforms are in effect.

SRLA’s Social Outreach is setting up a collection box for medical related items to help support Ukraine. 

There will be a bin in the SRLA lobby with a Ukrainian flag this week; April 11-14^th and when we return from Easter break, Monday April 25^th through Wednesday, April 27^th. 

These items will be brought to the Clifton Ukrainian Orthodox Holy Ascension Church who will transport the items to Ukraine.

Priority Medical Supplies Needed

(no alcohol wipes, alcohol liquid, or expired items)

Surgical tape - 1" wide

Gauze Pads 4 x 4 - various size dressings

CYO Athlete/Volunteer Recognition Ceremony

On Sunday, April 3, 2022, the CYO recognized the two eighth graders and special volunteer to be honored at a recognition ceremony held at the Breathtaking Cathedral Basilica in Newark

The Sportsmanship Award is presented to two athletes who displayed outstanding sportsmanship through service or actions on and off the athletic field in their school community. In addition, we were asked to nominate just one Adult for this award.

This year’s students are Chloe Mansfield and Ryan Fay. Our adult award, The Discipleship Award was presented to our Athletic Director, Harcourt Lucius.

Everyone involved deserved an award but when I needed to nominate just one adult, Harcourt Lucius earned that honor. I could not think of anyone who gave more of themselves and demonstrated a commitment to our young people at SRLA.

Congratulations to Chloe, Ryan and Coach Lucius.

Eighth grader, Matthew Dion, participated in the Celebration of the Eucharist for Outstanding Catholic School Graduates on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at the Sacred Heart Chapel in Kearny.

The mass was presided over by Reverend Monsignor Thomas J. McDade, Ed.D., and Vicar for Education/Interim Superintendent of Schools.

Dear Parents,

Congratulations to our 7/8 Boys Varsity Team who won their Semi-Final Game last night 66-43 against St. Aloysius from Jersey City 

It's been an enjoyable weekend as the CYO help a Tournament of Champions Mass and Banquet Saturday night for all of the participants and their families

Please join us tonight as our Boys look to win the Championship this evening in what should be an action packed game.
